PADI Scuba Diver Course

PADI Scuba Diver Course

Course Description

The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course and is perfect for those who want to dive but are short on time. This certification allows you to dive under the supervision of a PADI professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet). It’s an ideal choice if you plan to dive mainly with dive guides or are limited by time.

What to Expect

  • Knowledge Development: Learn the basics of scuba diving through the PADI Scuba Diver manual and video theory. You can complete this at your own pace, either online via PADI eLearning® or offline with traditional materials
  • Confined Water Dives: Practice scuba skills in a controlled environment such as a pool. You’ll learn essential techniques like setting up scuba gear, buoyancy control, and clearing your mask.
  • Open Water Dives: Experience two open water dives under the supervision of a PADI Instructor, applying the skills you’ve learned in real-world conditions.

  • Age: Must be at least 10 years old.
  • Health: Must be medically fit for diving. A medical questionnaire must be completed, and a physician’s approval may be required depending on your answers.

  • Duration: The course can be completed in 2-3 days, depending on your schedule and pace.
  • Equipment: Basic scuba gear is provided, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, dive computer, and tank. Please bring personal items like swimwear, sunscreen, and a towel with you.

Who It’s For

The PADI Scuba Diver course is perfect for:
