I found this place because of their good reviews and ratings, and I can say with confidence that they are totally worth it. Although I don’t have too much diving experience, I felt welcome there. My divemaster Amil made my diving experience seamless and enjoyable. Furthermore, the equipment was nice and the dive logistics was easy, because their boat was close to the HQ. If you want an enjoyable diving experience near Hikkaduwa, this is the place."

"Fantastic instructors Nov 2023 • Couples My husband & I (63 & 59) have just returned from the discover scuba diving trip. It has been an amazing experience, I was especially nervous but every single person was so kind & helpful 😊 Our instructors Ravi & Amil were so patient & encouraging it has made us want to do it again despite our initial reservations.

We checked a couple of places in Hikkaduwa that does the Discover Scuba Dive, and there were many to be found. But the reason that The International Diving School connected for me was because of how professional they were from the get go. There are ample places that will give you all the discounts and be cheaper, but I was not going to risk my life for a couple of 1000/- if I was not going to be taken care of. So from the get go, I spoke to Sachin who explained what exactly they do on the discover scuba dive. He mentioned every step that would be taken. Once my partner and I arrived at the location, the whole team was so professional and friendly. Once we sat down and filled our forms, they triple clarified everything we had noted down, and then gave us the necessary equipment and swimwear. They sat us down and took us through a thorough training where after there was a practical that took place in a shallow area. We were guided every step of the way by some amazing and friendly professionals on their team. After this we had a quick amazing coffee and were taken by boat to our dive site. Here we were helped to put on our gear, checked it was all intact and we made our dive. Every few meters they checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and okay. Never once took their eyes off us, and we were in the safest hands we could possibly be. Words cannot justify the experience the whole team gave us, and how amazing it was. Built much of my confidence that I will most DEFINITELY go back to get my open water license from them. And if you do visit Hikkaduwa, you MUST try them out be it for your license, as a newbie or just a regular dive. They are BEYOND AMAZING!"
